On September 6, 2013, at 6 PM CST, The George Shinn Foundation will be offering George Shinn’s custom 2007 Ford Stryker Mustang up for auction at the Mecum Muscle Cars & More event in Dallas. All proceeds from the auction will benefit The Roever Foundation and its Operation Warrior RECONnect program which helps wounded veterans find a new purpose after enduring hardship through service to our country.

We have always felt that this one-of-a-kind Mustang, beautifully customized by the Sanderson C&C Team with its American theme, could be used to benefit a non-profit military organization; and once I learned of Dave Roever’s story and saw what his organization was doing to help veterans injured during war-time, I felt it was a perfect match. The Stryker was originally built as a tribute to American’s military and we plan to keep that honorable tradition alive. View the photo gallery for more images of the car and of Dave Roever.
