My wife Denise and I are so excited about this weekend’s ShinnDig benefitting the Tennessee Baptist Children’s Home, a cause near and dear to our hearts.
This Saturday night is the big night – the first annual ShinnDig which benefits TBCH – and the culmination of lots of great work from great folks. Our committee includes Vince Gill, Hope Hines, Darrell Waltrip, and Johnna Watson. Some of the finest and kindest people around will be gathering, and we are all looking forward to a live musical performance from The Whites.
I was invited to be a guest on Hope Hines’ sports talk show recently and I talked a bit about my admiration for the very important work TBCH does and its powerful, and positive impact, on the lives of foster kids.
We’re honored to break out our cowboy boots and host this fun evening of good Southern cooking and music at our home for a very worthy cause. We’ll be sharing photos from this weekend’s fundraising event and an update on our fundraising total soon!
